This study was aimed to evaluate the effects of propolis ethanol extract (PEE) on hepatotoxicity and oxidative stress in albino rats (Sprague Dawley) chronicaly intoxicated with 2,3,7,8 tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin (TCDD). A total of 35 female rats strain Sprague Dawley weighing approximately 100 grams of 1 month old were divided into 7 groups, of 5 rats each: Group 1 (control group) and group 2 received the vehicle olive oil (2ml/ kg b.w /oral/day) for 27 weeks and group 3 was given TCDD 0,1 ug / kg b.w /oral/day for 27 weeks |
