description | Modeling a plant is an important step among others before designing a controller. One of very important industrial plants is gas furnace with gas flow rate and CO2 concentration as its input and its output respectively. System identification is a method to model a dynamic system by processing samples of input-output data of a plant. The samples are divided into two parts. The first part is used for training and the second one is used to test the model. In this paper multiple inputs of the model are determined by investigating the training data pairs. Moreover performance (defined as mean square error (mse) between output of the model and output of the plant) between Linear ARX Model (LARXM) and ARX Wcrvenet Model(WM) is compared The result shows that the multiple inputs consist of two sets. The first set comes from fourth delay and fifth delay of the current input of the plant. The second set comes from feedback of first, second, third and fourth delay of current output of the plant. Moreover WM performance is better than that of the LARXM as shown by their mse name)), 0,4 and 0,6 respectively.
