Summary: | Kerosene Pressure Stoves (KPS) on market and used by many business have risks in their using, e.g. fire and explosion. The explosion could be happened if the oxygen in the empty tank flowed through burner and met the fuel residue so combustion was done in burner channel and produced very fast pressure expansion.
This study was conducted to produce an additional safe equipment prevents oxygen flows through the tank into burner. The mechanism is: before fuel in the tank flows through burner should passes prevention accident tube. When the tank is empty the prevention accident tube will produce a sound like a warning for the user to turn of the stove immediately until fill fuel into the stove. If the user not hear or ignores the warning, the prevention accident tube will close the burner channel by gravity mechanism and turn of the stove.
Finding a correlation of burner dimension and nozzle diameter that CO combustion outcome gas value is minimal and CO2 outcome gas value is maximal could perform optimation of stove combustion. This is intended to get the most ideal burner dimension as close by a complete combustion. A complete combustion will produce optimal heat with minimal pollution emission. |
