| Summary: | .Many factors could determine whether a marriage will be happy and succesful. Among those factors, the important one is the ability to adjust to each other. For working wives the ability to adjust to their family is complicated. Since much time of working wives are not at home, therefore many working wives have more likely to fail in their marriage. Considering the facts above, the author assumes that there will be a relationship between marital conflict and working wives.
The study was carried out among these proposed divered in Yogyakarta. Results show that most of the cases with marital conflict are working wives. A comparison between a cases and a control group, shows significant differences in the distribution of marital conflict.
