| Summary: | This research expresses that a problem of Rabindranath Tagore's thought as a material object and philosophy of man as a formal object, which specifically analize about material of self existence in his philosophy. This research expresses a problem to find a nature of self existence in his philosophy. So, the objective of the research is to find out the meaning of self existence and some of its aspect, nature of self existence and the relationship with some actual problem in modernity. All of those done in Rabindranath Tagore's thought as a material object.
This research uses historico factual method with composition of mechanism about research material which explisitly by sources of data, collecting, systematization and result analisys.
Result of the research shows that self existence expressed in the bodies of self realisation. Self existence in this study understood as an entity bodies in the some aspects which naturally expressed by individual specific personality in the multidimentional of human life, and also showed about multidimentionality characteristic in the human self. To introduce substance material of self existence in the Rabindranath Tagore's philosophy has done with the beginning to know variations of and cores of his thought. As in general characteristic of Indian philosophy which place intuitive thought as one of pilars as well as RabMaranath Tagore. Intuitive style parallel with concrete monism in the deVOtion reality or self devotion mixed. Identification or explain about his variety and thought cores as basic material to explore the meaning of self existence in Rabindranath Tagore's philosophy. The meaning of self exploration Rabindranath Tagore's philosophy assume that sides deconstruction and the next to show terms and know how which has possibilitiy to being (existence) in the realisation. The end result of this research expresses that reflection to self existence view which found in the Rabindranath Tagore's philosophy with relations some actual problem to reconstruction human views among others are "hyper' naturalistic sides, significance of understanding maya world, cybernetics-psycho-religious and spirituality, and equillibrium of man on self.
