This research was aimed at finding out the causes of absentee land and the outcomes of the implementation of absentee land redistribution. This research was done at Purworejo Regency.
Data collecting was done by interviewing farmers as respondents. The collected data are analyzed qualitatively.
The result showed that there are three main factors of the forming of absentee land : immigration, inheritation, and illegal transaction. The absentee land has been collected in 1961 - 1994 of 14.378.630 metre squares (4.914 fields) |
