| Summary: | ABSTRACT
The research was done by library research by used The Briefing Note of Indonesian Copy Right. Number 12 of 1997 Bill, the international legislation concerning copy right, such as TRIPs Agreement, Berne Convention, UCC 1955 connected with Indonesian ratification about these. The research was also done by field research, and it was conducted by interviewing an expert as a respondent.
The outcome showed, first, the regulation background of registration rule in The Indonesian Copy Right Act Number 12 of 1997 were the interests to watch creations attentively, to fulfil formal procedure of copy right rising, to give the written evidence, to make the licensing easier, to fulfil the technical terms on education visual aid supplying, and to establish the legal conciousness of society. Second, these gave recommendation that the creations registration rule on the Indonesian Act Number 12 of 1997 was not to be defended.
