Description
Summary:ABSTRACT This work deals with an experiment of gas-liquid co current vertical upward flow in transparent tube with the diameter of 12.15 mm. Characterization of slug flow is based on the wall friction measurement with electrochemical methode. Measurement was conducted at constant liquid velocity and variable gas velocity. Slug flow model analysis is made by comparasion between visualisation of flow and wall friction time signal. In this flow region, the wall friction has a negatif component because of the film liquid flow down aroand the gas. For a given liquid velocity, this negatif component varies with gas velocity (j5) and reaches a maximum value for certain jg.
