| Summary: | ABSTRAK
In Indonesia, three types of Amaranthus tricolor L. are known, i.e. : the plants without anthocyan on their stern, the plants with anthocyan on the basal part of their stem and the plants with anthocyans on the whole length of their stem.
Based on their seedling morphology, those types could be distinguished. The positive association among the properties of the leaf number per plant, the leaf length, the petiole length and the circumference of its stem were shown clearly. The possibility of natural crossing among the types was discussed.
