| Summary: | Malaria is a major health problem in district of Minahasa, North Sulawesi Province, especially in Tombatu subdistrict with annual malaria incidence (AMI) as high as 87,65 %o in Tombatu in 2000. In eradicating malaria, chloroquine is being used as the first line drug, but nowdays treatment failure has been rampant. This study aims to present the magnitude of treatment failure and factors affecting it. Therefore a
