Summary: | Twenty four male rats, strain Wistar, 3 months old body weight + 150 g were used as experimental animals to study the protective effects of garlic on the incidence of cardiovascular diseases due to atherogenic ration. The rats were randomly allotted into 4 groups of six each. Before treatments, the rats were adapted for 7 days and fed basal ration.
