description Deactivation and regeneration of Cr/active natural zeolite catalyst for conversion of methyl isobuthyl ketone (MIBK) as biofuel model has been investigated. Catalyst deactivation was determined by comparing the chromatograph of product with that of the chromatograph of MIBK standard. Regeneration of deactivated catalyst was conducted at 400 °C by oxidation with oxygen gas for 3, 4, 10 hours and reduction with hydrogen gas for 1 hour. Characteri¬zations of the fresh catalyst, deactivated catalyst and regenerated catalyst included determi¬nation of acidity were conducted by pyridine gas sorption method and Infra Red Spectros¬copy
