Summary: | Seismic data processing which utilized the currently available hardware and software was also supported by the associated geological and geophysical data at hand. The seismic signal processing was based on some wavelet transform methods which have already shown their merits in reducing the needed computation involved. These methods worked on short segment signals and hence the implementation was closer to the "real time demand. Coloured spectrum representations were exploited to ease operator's job for recognition of important information contained in the seismic data, the analysis time was about 0.22 ms. The results show that, even with the presence of inherent instrument noise, vital informations can be obtained. With an extra 0.11 ms time to denoise.
