In order to investigate the influence of Reynolds numbers and geometry of the concentric tubes, The Reynolds numbers, the ratio of length to the cylinder diameter (Lid), the ratio of outer diameter to inner diameter (D/d) and the ratio of spiral pitch to the cylinder diameter (p/d) were varied. The mass reduction of the specimens due to sublimation were used for calculating the coefficient of mass transfer and the heat transfer coefficient was estimated from the mass transfer coefficient.
