After the independence, however, many social problems atose, rooted from the ever growing population. The increasing labor force needed more employment opportunities, meanwhile most of the people depended strongly. ,9n, agricultural sector. Within this new social conditions, the established forest:, management system of teak is becoming absoiete. As a result of employing that 91d. system, the teak forest is deteriorating. - To solve the problems, the only alternative is to take into account the, social : problems in formulating the management objectives and establishing the management regimes. The complexity of the forest ecosystem as well as the social system are., very. often hampering any research in this field to find. out the adequate replies.
