| Summary: | ABSTRACT
This research tries to resolve gender discrimination problem in connection with morality. Some questions emerges on whether morality has any concern with gender difference?. If it does, what kind of concern is taking place? How does the gender difference affect the moral choice in ethical system?
The results affirmed that many problems in morality are much affected by gender difference. There are three classifications with regard to the stances concerning gender difference.
a. Those philosophers who claim that both on the ideal level and socio cultural pratices there is one moral system that is free from gender bias.
b. Those philosophers who claim that on the ideal level, there is a moral system that is universally recognized, but when it is applied in the social life it discriminates female from male standard.
c. Those philosophers who claim that morality on the ideal level and in everyday life works differently in regarding different for male and female.
The research concludes, that masculine domination must be ended by promoting gender equality. There are two tasks that ought to be done, first, it is to raise the feminine values to the same level of the masculine, by promoting the importance of moral senses and ethics of virtue. Second, it is recommendable to develop androgen morality, which consists of feminine and masculine standard of values altogether.
