| Summary: | ABSTRACT
Hospital, besides as the place of curative for any disease, is also a public place and a workplace. Therefore, hospital has a role as a source of various disease agents. This disease agent besides brought by patient to hospital, also by visitors, and or with environmental factors, such as water, food, and air. And, finally also will reside in environment. This agent will be infectious to patient, so it will increase the nosokomial infection. This matter is able to lengthen treatment day, adding medical action and the therapy, even though actually it does not necessary. In conclusion, the research shows about how environmental health effort of that hospital executed, and how its relation between nosocomial infection and mean of treatment day.
