The objective of this research is to study, how far is the role of the Indonesian Naval Academy (AAL) as one of the educational institutions in Indonesian Navy in forming professional officers. Besides, the research is also expected to know which educational aspect has the biggest role and need to be focused more in order to make AAL better. Two kinds of variables were applied in this research, namely: independent variable and dependent variable. Independent variable is education institution that refers to some education aspects in AAL: teaching, coaching and guiding. The other variable is dependent variable that is influenced or affected by independent variable. The dependent variable is professionalism of AAL officer graduates. All the data were processed and analyzed with SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) computer program version 13. The data were analyzed by measuring of the correlation degree between dependent variable and independent one. The model used to analyze the data was the multipleregression.The results of this study showed that the first hypothesis was proven, whereby Indonesian Naval Academy (AAL) has significant role in forming professionalism of Indonesian Navy officers. Furthermore, there were positive correlations between the three independent variables (teaching, coaching and guiding) and the dependent variable (professionalism). In other words, education aspects in AAL that consist of teaching, coaching and guiding, all have big role m forming professionalism officers. The analyses proved that 84% professionalism of Indonesian Navy officers could be explained by teaching, coaching and guiding variables. While, the rest (100 %-84 %=16%) were explained by other aspects. The second hypothesis was also proven, that coaching aspect has the biggest role in forming professionalism officers. This research proved also that coaching influences more than teaching, while teaching influences more than guiding.
