Summary:Theory and research have robustly indicated that teamworks perva-sively influence job performances. Among others teamwork influences moti-vation, productivity, climate, loyalty, and work satisfaction. Further, good teamwork also influences the cohesiveness of teams or organizations. Hence, teamwork may directly or indirectly influence the continuity of a team or an organization. One of the crucial factors of teamwork is motivation. It represents the driving factor and the guiding principle for individual to act. It keeps the performance intact over time and conditions. The motivation of cooperation is an important factor to stimulate cooperative behaviors. This research was intended to reveal: (1) the influence of group adven-ture film discussions on the improvement of teamwork motivation, (2) the influence group adventure films on the improvement teamwork motivation. The respondents for this sample research was recruited among stu-dents of the faculty of psychology, Surakarta Muhanumadiyah University. Participations to the study were voluntary. The participants were divided into three groups, that is, one control group and two experiment groups. The experimental treatment. (the group advanture film) was presented to the ex-periment groups, but the follow-up discussion was only conducted with one of the experiment groups. Paired Sample T-test for pre and post test result in group A (control group) with t= -1,902 and p = 0,084, groupB (experiment group, without follow-up discussion) with t= -1,928 and p = 0,373, and group C (experiment group, with follow-up discussion (with t = -3,283 and p = 0,007. Thus, this study concludes that discussions of following up the presentation of group adventure film increase teamwork motivation.
