| Summary: | The purpose of this research is (1) to find out the society perception especially in District Military Command 0705/ Magelang to Regional Military Command of Indonesian National Army (TNI AD) nowadays, (2) to find out the function of Regional Military Command of Indonesian National Army (TN! AD) as well as its implementation in term of realizing of regional resilience.
This research uses descriptive method with qualitatively analyzed data. The study took placed in Zone of District Military Command 0705/Magelang in which collecting data was carried out through observation, interview and studying relevant literature.
The result of this research shows that 1) society perception to the existence of District Military Command in Magelang Regency is positive enough, it means that it is helpful enough to give the safe sense and condition for society. However, generally, they do not recognize completely about tasks and function that are carried out by District Military Command, especially in term of defense field
