Abortion is the termination of pregnancy by any means before the fetus is sufficiently developed to survive. The incidence of spontaneous abortion is usually quoted as 15% of all abortion. The common cause of abortion appears to be infection, immunological incompatibilities, physical factors, lethal gene, congenital abnormalities, and chromosomal anomalies.
The common cause of abortion which caused by immunological incompatibilities are incompatibility Human Leucocyte Antigen (FILA) and non specific means. The infectious agents cause abortion in three ways: blood vessel obstruction, complement activation, and over production of prostaglandin.
