Dari observasi dapat disimpulkan bahwa banyaknya waktu produktif hilang karena penataan alat-alas produksi yang kurang balk dan rendahnya efisiensi alat produksi menjadi penyebab utama rendahnya efisiensi produksi. Perbandingan sebelum dan sesudah dilalaikannya penataan kembali "lay out" pabrik dibuktikan bahwa penataan alat-alat produksi yang memperhatikan aliran proses produksi bisa mengurangi waktu produksi total sekitar 45 %.
ABSTRACT
This article discusses the causes of low production efficiency and product quality of "Tahu Home Industry" in Serangan, Yogyakarta. It was observed that the production process lay out of the observed home industry is inappropriate. In order to improve the efficiency, a new lay out is proposed in the new lay-out, the production process line and ergonomic factor are considered. Comparison of the total production time between the original and the improved lay out shows that the new lay out can reduce the total production time by about 45 %. |
