| Summary: | Background: Since 2000 year, Indonesian has proclaimed Making Pregnancy Safer (MPS) program constituted centralization of health sector strategy. MPS strategy focus is coping with main cause of maternal and neonatal mortality and morbidity by rising of capability of health services. One s of health services system is village delivery house (polindes).
Method: The objective of this study is investigated to financing, job satisfaction, and customer behavior of polindes at isolated area. This research s done at two provinces namely East Java s chosen Ponorogo and Pacitan, and NTB at East Lombok and Sumbawa Regency. Each of regencies chose ten isolated polindes. Collecting data s done by interview, questionnaire and recording. Analyzing data s done descriptively.
Result: The research result show that cost of polindes at isolated area is relatively large, where more that areas isolated, then also more huge its operational cost. Allocating cost to curative activity has dominant. Midwife satisfaction level at regency that have job at polindes show not satisfied enough, especially which related to developing carrier and lowing penghargaan. Com¬munity behavior is sufficient responsive to polindes existence and village community loyalty to polindes is quite high.
Conclusion: Therefore must considered of raising polindes function be village polyclinic that s added by treatment service, and if necessary be made privatization
