Description
Summary:Ammonia is one type of air pollution has a negative impact on animal and human health. Furthermore, ammonia is also inflicted a financial loss to farmers cause decreased livestock production. Several approaches have been suggested for reducing ammonia from animal manure like reducing formed and volatile ammonia. Ammonia is a product of hydrolysis urea by bacteria urease. Ammonia production can be reduced by inhibiting activity bacterial urease to forming ammonia with bioactive compounds in bael (Aegle marmelos). This paper provides a review about the potency of marmelosin bioactive compounds to reducing ammonia and method selection for extraction and measurement of standardization marmelosin bioactive compounds in bael (Aegle marmelos).
