description One of the major problems of engineering structure such as platform is the occurrence of deformation, which may cause disaster to human being and platform itself. Implementing a deformation monitoring system to monitor the stability of the platform is a rational approach to addressing the safety of the platform. Because of its remote location, deformation of offshore platform needs to be monitored by using Global Positioning System (GPS) technique. This technique gives advantage to measure without conventional method and require minimum user interface. Moreover, this technique give beneficial because of its precise coordinate in 3-dimensional data which be resulted at relative high speed and in any weather condition. Pulai is one of the offshore platforms in Malaysia observed the deformation by GPS technique. The GPS data have not proceeded by using scientific software as GAMIT to obtain high precision coordinate. This paper shows the result of processing GPS data of Pulai offshore. The GPS surveys are carried out into three (3) campaigns i.e. July, August and September 2003 using Trimble 4000SSI Geodetic GPS receiver.
