Pemahaman akan hak atas tubuh menjadi semakin penting ketika seseorang dapat mendonorkan organ tubuhnya. Kedua konsep hak yang selama ini berlaku, yaitu konsep �ownership� dan �possession� ternyata jika diterapkan ke hak atas tubuh sangat tidak sesuai karena tubuh manusia bukanlah barang. Dalam kondisi inilah konsep hak dengan tujuan kemanusiaan memberikan dasar yang kuat tentang hak atas tubuh. |
