description The output of the angular rate sensor (gyroscope) is a voltage that represent the rate of angular. To get the angular data, the output of sensor have to be integral. Sensor angular rate gyroscope ADXRS 150 has an internal analog filter, low-pass filter, but the voltage output of the sensor contain the noise. To eliminate the noise, the digital filter must be design. The exponential filter is a recursive solution to the process filtering problem. Parameter of the filter depend on the cut-off frequency of the signal output of the rate gyroscope. A good filtering algorithm can remove the noise from signal, then give the valid information and minimum of error. This paper presents design the double exponential filter and its application on angular estimation using rate gyroscope ADXSR 150. The estimating of angular (rotation) on some experiments using the double exponential filter have the average of error 1.5%.
