Summary: | Divorce rate is increasing from year to year. Adolescents whose parents divorced are vulnerable to various psychological problems, such as disappointment and anger because their family no longer intact and are not satisfied with their life. This shows that the level of subjective well-being teenagers whose parents divorce tend to be low. The purpose of this study was to determine whether forgiveness training can increase levels of subjective well-being in adolescents whose parents are divorced. Subjects in this study is 4 teens aged 14-15 years who have this level of subjective well-being low. Methods of research conducted in the form of control group design with pre-test and post-test. Measurement be done 3 times, that is, before training, after training and at follow-up, 2 weeks after training. Scale used the level of forgiveness and scale to measure subjective well-being, namely satisfaction scale and affective scale. The results showed that forgiveness training can improve the subjective well-being in adolescents whose parents are divorced. Changes in subjective well-being remained significant at follow-up.
