| Summary: | This research is to find out the national defense implementation among Muslim Tionghoa and its implication on regional resistence. This research uses the descriptive method. The data collected through bibliographical and field research. The field research data are compiled with interview and documentation. Data are analyzed with qualitatively approach.
The result shows that the national defense implementation among Muslim Tionghoa could be seen through their awarenees and sicerity to use their mind and energy. The implementation is shown in their sincere awarenees in national life, loving their nation, and awarenees to sacrifice to improve their country in various fields such as politics, economics, social culture and national defese.
The implication of the Muslim Tionghoa national defense on area resistance could be seen on their everyday life, and their national life. The Tionghoa Muslim assimilates in politics, economics, social culture, and national defense. The implication of social culture life in Yogyakarta could be seen through religious tolerance and also in their everyday life.
The conclution of this research is the Muslim Tionghoa understands the meaning of national defense and has applied it in their everyday life and national life. It could be seen through the assimilation in politics, economics, social culture, national life and also social religious behavior. The social religious behavior applies through social relation path with other Indonesian people whether they are muslim or not.
