| description | This study aims to reveal the meaning of the concept of spiritualisme kritis in the novel Bilangan Fu by Ayu Utami, using dialogical theory. The study aimed to analyze the concept of spiritualisme kritis in the novel, taking into account the things that lay behind the phenomenon of emergence in a multicultural setting of contextual story. Research conducted with qualitative research methods, the research method that aims to seek and find meaning or understanding of a particular phenomenon in a particular contextual background, with a focus on the data in relation to the context of its existence. The result presented in descriptive research in the form of a relatively detailed description and was as complete as possible. The result showed that the issue of spiritualisme kritis in BF conceptually has been informed through laku kritik in Saman and Larung. The emergence of the concept of spiritualisme kritis in BF was triggered by a disagreement about the concept of "truth" version between the adherents of monotheism and polytheism, especially the "truth" about the nature of divinity. The problem becomes more complicated when the fanatical adherents of monotheism to use violent means to enforce the "truth" version of their religion and insulting "truth" of other faiths. Such fanaticism ultimately led to anti-others (anti-liyan). The similarity between the monotheistic views and modernism led to their alliance to fight superstition which they regard as fictional stories, no more than mere fiction tales. In fact, to maintain their "truth" version, the modernists-monotheists do not hesitate to use violent means identical with military means, so that monotheism, modernism and militarism, was branded as a destroyer of the earth triad. Starting from this event so was born the term 3M. Various forms of violence emerged and started from the problem "truth" in the world of spiritualism, therefore it must be critically addressed through spiritualism approach too. The approach was made through a particular effort, called the laku kritik. This critical attitude to the issue of spiritualism is known as the concept of spiritualisme kritis, which means dare to criticize the "truth" which is carried by all religions without causing anti stance toward the other. Truth is a mystery, the answer will never be held. Being that if the answer is held, it is no longer mystery, but has turned into a puzzle. Truth is on sky and should be supported in order not to fall into the earth, because if he had to fall to earth, it will be transformed only into power. |
