description | This study aims to test whether the updated DeLone and McLean information system success model combined with the perceived of trust and modification of net benefits to be member loyalty member, is an appropriate conceptual framework to explain the phenomenon of the popularity of social networking sites. The samples were 214 members of social networking sites with the criteria (1) age ranged 18-44 years, and (2) routinely access social network sites at least 1 hour every day. Data collection was carried out by using computer delivered survey technique. The collected data were analyzed using the technique of structural equation model (SEM). The study found empirical evidence that The Updated DeLone and McLean Information System Success Model, which combined with the perceived of trust and member loyalty is a quite appropriate model for explaining the phenomenon of social networking site’s popularity. The information quality and system quality had positive effect on the member of social networking site’s satisfaction. Service quality had positive effect not only on member’s satisfaction, but also for the member’s intentions to access the social networking site in the future. This study also found empirical evidence perceived of trust had positive effect on member’s intention to access social networking sites in the future. Finally, this study found empirical evidence both user satisfaction and member’s intention to access social networking sites in the future had positive effect on the loyalty of member. |
