in general, has faced the most serious challenge today.energy consumption is dominated by
oil, which is about 52.2%, and 21.5% coal, natural gas 19%, water 3.7%, geothermal 3% and
0.2% of renewable energy (Energy and Mineral Resources, 2004 ).
T his study aims to find out the influence mixed cassava and rice husk pulp thus
gaining energy from the briquettes ampacampuran optimum pulp and cassava and rice husk
for the optimum mix mngetahui between the two raw materials in the manufacture
ofcharcoalbriquettes.
In this study using nine variations of raw materials, namely the second mix (1-3), (3-
1), (2-2), (3-2), (2-3), (1-2), (2 - 1), there are three variations due to the same mixture, then
only seven variations mixture conducted the research process. The result of processing of
raw materials after pyrolysis of finely milled to pass 40 mesh filter with adhesive ratio 1: 10
and water 1: 16. Parameters observed in this study is that the calorific value, the value of
persistence. From this research method, RSM (response surface method) can be concluded
that the optimum mix between the two cassava pulp raw material mixture and rice husk was
48.97% and 51.03%. Physical properties on cassava pulp mixture briquettes and rice husk on
the optimum mix is the heating value of 5153.08 cal / g. while the mechanical properties of
the briquettes mixed cassava and rice husk residue on the optimum mix is the value of press
at13:41kg/cm². |
