be developed to meet the demand for air transportation services continue to rise quite rapidly.
Ahmad Yani Airport in Semarang has a 2680 meter long runway is implemented in stages
according to the demands and needs of the existing policy at that time. With the gradual
development and extension of the runway causing the strength along the runway is not the same.
In an effort to realize the implementation of a safe and smooth flight at Ahmad Yani Airport in
Semarang, in relation to extension have been implemented in stages, to do research / study indepth
on the ability of the carrying capacity of the air side facilities, in order to obtain certainty
and confidence in his ability for operational larger aircraft.
The study was conducted by analyzing secondary data, including data of aircraft and
pavement history data. Age predicted plans for the next 20 years for pavement modeling done by
the approach and to analyze the movement of aircraft on the FAA method.
Research shows that to increase the value of PCN on the runway Ahmad Yani airport in
Semarang needed additional layer or overlay pavement on the first 11 cm thick. It is because the
PCN on the condition of 37 F / D / X / T while the value of PCN is required for the layana 20
years is of 39 F / D / X / T. while for other conditions not necessary to improve |
