Summary:This research is aimed at proving and predicting the acceptance of Management Information System on Single Identity Number for Teachers and Educational Staff, called SIMNUPTK, using technology acceptance model (TAM). The model was developed with social influence variable and self-efficacy as one of the antecedent to behaviour instead of other TAM constructs such as perceived usefulness and perceived easy of use towards TAM. The subjects involved are all Educational Quality Assurance Institutions at Provincial Level (LPMP), Local Education Authority at Kabupaten/Kota and directorates in Directorate General of Improvement of Teachers and Education Staff, Ministry of national Education using non probabilistic sampling. Data was analyzed using Analysis Moment Structural software (AMOS) version 7 and Structural Equation Model method. The results shows that users of SIMNUPTK at LPMPs, Local Education Authority at Kabupaten/Kota and and directorates have sufficient enthusiasm in SIMNUPTK. The five constructs Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, Attitude toward Using, Behavioral Intention to Use, and Actual System Usage have significant influences to the use of SIMNUPTK. Meanwhile, social influence variable and self-efficacy as the effects of TAM development in this research are reflected in Behavioural Intention and Attitude toward Using in relation to the internalization and identification.
