analyze the policy impact of Fuel Oil Transport subsidy to Development of Dried Fish
Fisherman Business. (2) analyze the income level of Dried Fish Fisherman in South
Waigeo, Raja Ampat Regency before and after the existing of fuel oil transport subsidy.
The expected benefits are: (1) as information on nececcary or not the existing of fuel oil
transport subsidy. (2) availability of accurate information and data about precision of
target and policy benefits target of fuel oil transport subsidy (3) availability of
appropriate information on amount of fuel oil need to move the business activities of
dried (salted) fish fishermen in South Waigeo, Raja Ampat Regency.
This research was conducted from September 2010 to October 2010 in South
Waigeo, Raja Ampat Regency. The primary data collection was done by direct interviews
with the fishermen either in group or alone. Total 15 fishermen respondents were
interviewed. In addition to respondents identity, the primary data collected includes (1)
total fuel oil used, (2) total hours at the sea in a day (3) total days at the sea in a month.
(4). total workers and (5) the catch result.
Using correlation analysis instrument to see the relationship degree between
variables, regression analysis to determine the possibility of relationship forms betwen
variables and two averages different analysis to compare the income before and after the
existing of fuel oil transport subsidy. From these analytical instrument, that fuel oil is
positive and significant influence to the dried fish production, each additional 1 liter of
fuel oil the dried fish (salted tenggiri) production for 4.438 kgs but not applicable to the
puri dried fish production , and each increase 1 kg of the mackerel dried fish (salted
tenggiri) will increase the income Rp10.356, (citeris paribus). |
