Summary: | The purpose of this research was to identify and to analyze popular
keywords that became trends and are popularly searched by search engine users for
recent years, in order to estimate future trends to find out what kind of potential
products for online market in Indonesia.
Popular and most wanted products every month could be determined by
observing selected queries input to the keyword related to the products, and
observing the top-listed keywords related to the queries on the searching item of
Google Insights. A questioner approach was conducted to categorize products, in
order to estimate the future trend of the keywords. Then, potential product for
market can be determined using a statistical operation called curve estimation
regression.
From this research, a conclusion was drawn that the future potential
products would be under the category of automotive, property, gadget, computer,
and electronic.
