Summary: | The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of The Anti Bullying and Teasing
Program to decrease the frequency of bullying behavior and also its intensity in preschool
classroom. Students of two classrooms in the same preschool whose meet the criteria of inclusion
was included as subjects of study. The untreated control group design with removed treatment
was used to examine the program�s effect. The program is based on The Anti Bullying and
Teasing Book for Preschool Classroom (Sprung, Froschl, & Hinitz, 2005). The program was
consisted of six hours intensive orientation program for teachers and ten sessions of community
theme activities for students implemented by teachers. This study showed that the Anti Bullying
and Teasing Program had an influence on the decreasing frequency of bullying behavior in
subjects. |
