Summary: | This study aims to find out more about the implementation of the Planned
Maintenance System (SPT) at the level of organic the war ships of Republic of
Indonesia (KRI), with case studies at the Military Sea Traffic Command
(Kolinlamil). This research is important because it can learn about organic SPT-level
implementation by the crews at the KRI Kolinlamil at present. In the implementation
of maintenance of equipments which is on the ship, still raised the problem at the
hand. The basic element of SPT which are the all factors that affect the
implementation of the organic level of maintenance, can be seen how far the
relevance of each, so it can as a guide in developing strategies to optimize the
performance of SPT at the level of organic KRI
At the present problems that professionalism of the crews is reduced, their
knowledge of SPT return less. Supporting for SPT document in software is not
available on the ship, the working equipments are not complete and also spare parts
are less. The results of study about five ships in the Kolinlamil based on the
collected data from the ships reports, surveys and interviews with several of the
crews and staffs Kolinlamil that the implementation of SPT at the level of organic
KRI , in accordance with existing rules, and the result is less than optimal reliability.
In this condition, which is directly related to the professionalism of the main crews
of SPT�s document that serves as the policy direction and guidance as well as
sources of information as a means of monitoring and controlling the implementation
of SPT at the level of organic KRI
From this study can be concluded that the optimization of the implementation
of SPT at the level of organic KRI at Kolinlamil can be realized when crews�
professionalism as implementing improved maintenance. Increased professionalism
of the crews with a limited budget for software maintenance Requirement Cards
(KP), Index Card (KI) and Schedule Maintenance, so the crews can learn and
perform properly restore the SPT at the organic level. Therefore ships in Kolinlamil
immediately the software needed according the rules, such as manuals as
implementation of SPT at the level of organic KRI, guided direction and appropriate
policies in achieving the goal of maintenance finally able to realize the operational
readiness KRI optimilized.
