observations that we did in august 2010 demonstrate the use of
formularies on child polyclinics Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo Makassar not
very effective and the recipes that are not served in the installation of
outpatients, this maybe because the drug is not available in the outpatient
pharmacy of Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo so there is a problem why drugs
are not served if it was not in accordance with the formulary so that
pharmacies do not provide the drug.
Objective : The purpose of this study is to evaluate the use of formularies
on policlinic children in the government general hospital Dr. Wahidin
Sudirohusodo.
Method : The method use in this research is descriptive analysis method
with case study research design. Research instrument in the form of indepth
interview guide.
Results : Indicators of prescribing in children out patient clinic showed that
the average item on prescription drugs was 3.61 items. 38 % percentage
of generic drugs. 73% percentage of antibiotic drugs. The pattern of
disease in children dependent poly with seasons and environmental
factors, for most infections of pneumonia infection. No use of injection.
Drug Interaction 6% percentage. Percentage 59% dug Substitution and
percentage drug of formulary 52 %.
Conclusion : formulary utilization in the clinic children RSUP Dr. Wahidin
Sudirohusodo not yet reached maximally, the highest drug use in the
clinic , namely the use of antibiotics in the clinic due to patterns of
disease, role of pharmacy committee on therapy in the utilization of
disseminating the formulary and formulary revision. |
