| Summary: | Nowadays, collaborative management in a national park reputed suitable and able to
reduce the conflicts that arise problems. Usually it happened because of various
stakeholders which have different authority, role and function, and also responsibility.
Regional autonomy in Indonesia at this time, encourage governments to promote
collaborative management in national parks and protected areas. This new initiative
aims to strengthen the role and responsibilities of various stakeholders in park
management, to get full support from local communities, and also to ensure the
effectiveness of management performance. Further, management structure through
the concept of collaboration designed according to the characteristic feature of
location � that generally involve the goverment, local government, local community,
and private sectors to played an active role with the purpose of complement and fill
to each other.
Generally, this research has aim to make an evaluation about the level of performance
effectiveness of tourism management through collaborative management among
stakeholders in Bunaken national park. This research focussed on how to understand
