Summary: | Background: Department of Health Service Mukomuko will improve
access to quality health care for the community. Improved access to
society's access to basic services such as the usual done in public health
centers. The health sector has a very broad aspects that need data and
information are accurate, precise, very fast and large, therefore, required
management information system of public health center that facilitates
the management of data and information for making the right decision for
the health centers and Department of Health Service
Mukomuko. Discourse making SIMPUS could be submitted in one
program Department of Health Service Mukomuko in 2009, but has not
been well received by the Regional Parliament Mukomuko so can not be
realized, therefore this research could be one consideration in the
implementation of SIMPUS for advocacy in the Mukomuko Regency.
Objective: This study describes the implementation SIMPUS by looking at
user acceptance, resistance, support for SIMPUS in Public Health Center
Mukomuko for improving performance in health care.
Methods: This study used case study design description, by conducting
in-depth interviews, observation and field notes so that it can produce an
in-depth study on the implementation of SIMPUS at Public Health Center
City of Mukomuko.
Results: The process of implementation SIMPUS in Public Health Center
Mukomuko City begins with socialization, training, implementation of
SIMPUS, supevision and observation, with evaluation and interviews. The
result is obtained that in terms of human satisfaction of end users has
shown good results and the motivation to use SIMPUS. Terms of positive
conditions for the implementation of SIMPUS is supporting of Health
Department and Head of the Public Health Center City of Mukomuko,
socialization and training of foster interest and knowledge workers, it takes
standard operating procedure for SIMPUS run well. SIMPUS technology
terms is relatively easy and lightweight as well as get support system from
the vendor, reports and menus, not all can be operated because of the
limitations of the computer.
Conclusion: Overall implementation of SIMPUS run well in the Public
Health Center city of Mukomuko views of end user satisfaction but not
optimal in the monthly reporting because SIMPUS applied only in 3 rooms,
counter registration, general poly and pharmacies
