| Summary: | The purpose of this research are (1) to know the economic position of each
district in Central Java Province, (2) to analyze the structure of economic growth
in each district in Central Java Province depend on the economic structure of
Central Java Province, (3) to find out which economic sectors are basic sector in
Central Java Province�s districts,(4) to determine the influence of basic sector to
economic accretion in Central Java Province,(5) to determine the influence of
basic sector to region classification based on economic growth and per capita
income in Central Java Province�s districts, (6) to determine the effect of basic
sector to economic growth in Central Java Province.
Data analysis used are Typology Klassen, shift share, Location Quotient,
Ordinary Least Square regression and ordinal logistic regression. The data used is
secondary data obtained from BPS Central Java Province.
The results of this study are in Central Java province the region
classification based on economic growth and per capita income is dominated by
low income and low growth regions that is equal to 68.57% of district/city. The
growth component of Central Java province based on the shift share analysis is
dominated by component of national growth. The majority basic sector based on
Location Quotient analysis in Central Java province�s district is the financial
sector, leasing and corporate services. Basic sector have significant impacts on
economic accretion in Central Java Province. Basic sector significantly affect to
the region classification based on economic growth and per capita income in
Central Java Province�s district. Basic sector have significant impacts on the
economic growth in Central Java Province�s districts.
