Summary: | The objectives of this research were to identify the 4 (four) balanced
scorecard perspectives in the management of Land and Building Division and
evaluate the management strategy of Land and Building Division in achieving its
vision and mission of Corporate Facility Management. This research used
qualitative method and used primary data as source of the research. The data
obtained from direct interviews with top management and employees of Land and
Building Division and the director of Corporate Facility Management Kompas
Gramedia. Data also obtained by secondary data from the documents of financial
statements, operational performance of Land and Building Division, vision and
mission of Corporate Facility Management Kompas Gramedia. Literature of
books and media also used as primary data.
This research used SWOT analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses,
opportunities, and threats of the Land and Building Division. Balanced scorecard
analysis used to identify the 4 (four) perspectives in the management of Land and
Building Division.
The results showed that several key performance indicator target of 4 (four)Â
balanced scorecard perspectives in 2010 were not achieved as the maximum deviationÂ
of the project budget because of technical errors (Financial), Stakeholder Satisfaction Index (Customer), implementation of innovation (Internal Business Process), Facility Management Information System design (FMIS) and fit cadre (Learning and Growth).Â
The strategic objective from 4 (four) balanced scorecard perspectives of Land and Building Division were appropriate with the vision and mission of Corporate Facility Management that supported Kompas Gramedia to faced competition in global market.Â
