description | Nowadays, competition between industries is tough, alike companies in
one similar industry applied different strategy to catch bigger market share. This
is also happening in catering industry. The industry used to be lack of
competition, but now there are more player in the industry. This background lead
us to choose which strategy should be applied in the market based on nowadays
condition. Strategy choosen based on the mision and goal of the company, which
explained detail in the company policy and program later.
The success of a strategy that is choosen, depends on the fitness of the
strategy with environmental changing and company situation. Strategy
application started with observasion and identification of opportunity and thread,
and also observasion and identification of internal company for understanding
comapnys� strenght factor and weaknesses factor. The steps is proposed using key
success factors identification, driving forces, core competence, value chain,
SWOT analysis, and PESTEL analysis. Result form the analyis is long term
strategy formulation for the company.
Goals of these analysis are to arrange strategies which is applicable by
the company to face competition, to gain more profit, and to expand the market
share so the company will run well. |
