Summary: | Background: Nursing service in hospitals is an integral part of overall
health care, which is one benchmark for the successful achievement of
hospital goals. Professional Nursing Practice Model (PNPM) is one of a
structured system that allows nurses to provide nursing care in a
professional and qualified.
Objective: Knowing the difference in compliance documenting nursing
care, nurse job satisfaction and patient satisfaction on the PNPM ward and
functional ward.
Methods: There is no differences in adherence of documenting nursing
care in PNPM ward than in functional ward. There was no significant
difference between job satisfaction of nurses at PNPM compared with
nurses in the functional, independent t-test with p = 0.129 (p � 0.05).
However, patient satisfaction at PNPM and functional differ significantly,
Mann-Whitney U test (p � 0.05).
Results: There was no difference in compliance documenting nursing
