Summary: | Self-efficacy is an individual belief on how far to predict the ability of
himself/herself in doing the task. The training of goal setting is a training
that can improve self-efficacy, which is later, will affect the individual
performance. This research aims to analyze the effect of goal setting
training in order to enhance self-efficacy. The training is called effective
if there is an improvement in self-efficacy after goal setting training is
given. The subject of this research is 30 salesperson of PT. SNS. The
subject is divided into two groups, 15 persons as treated experiment
group and 15 persons as untreated control group. The method of
collecting data uses self-efficacy of task completion scale. The design of
this research is quasi experiment, with design of pre-post two
independent group. By using anova-mixed, the result indicated that self
efficacy of salesperson is significantly improved after goal setting
training.
