| description | The object of study in this research is the reinterpretation of Islamic
teaching in the Syahadat Cinta novel created by Taufiqurrahman al-Azizy.
Research on this issue be studied through the reception approach by applying the
concept of repertoire of Iser and assisted with intertextual theories of Julia
Kristeva. Repertoire itself is the whole scope of which is known in the text, which
includes references to the works of earlier, social norms, historical, and cultural
appearance of text, while the intertextual reference to the texts of other works that
also influence the creation of literary works. Utilization of repertoire theory is
focused on references from previous work that is very visible in the SC, namely
references from the TR readings of the text of the Koran, Hadith, and Ayat-Ayat
Cinta novel created by Habiburrahman el-Shirazy. Based on previous texts were
also shown a response from the TR by intertextuality. The other aspects of the
repertoire of social norms, historical, and cultural, in this study are not discussed
due to fairly extensive discussion, while the problems are studied adequate for
missed through the use of a reference work of the previous course.
Problems of reinterpretation of Islamic teachings found in this study are
about the touch / shaking hands with non-mahram, a problem holding the view,
the problem of seclusion, and the issue of a woman traveling without a mahram.
This issue is raised through the interpretation of TR as a form of response to the
QH text and AAC novel. TR as a reader of the texts shows the rejection response
in the form of reinterpretation. Problems above are considered unlawful under
however condition, interpreted differently by TR with the response that indicates
that these problem do not become unlawful under conditions and for some reason.
The Other thing that is exploited by TR based on text AAC is some event and
figures that is realized in such a manner in SC in so many form of response like an
equation, rejection, intersection, and etcetera. Thus, it can be said that the novel
SC is presented as an aesthetic response of reader (TR) of previous texts (QH and
AAC). |
