The purpose of this research is to design and construct a protection device (recloser) (Safety equipment impaired overload is automatically opened and closed electrical circuit) programmed with ATmega16 microcontroller in electricity distribution network 1 phase at 3kW power MHP Singosaren Wukirsari Imogiri Bantul Yogyakarta while impaired network efficiently and effectively so that security of electricity generation and distribution to be reliable as well as consumers gain the convenience of electricity. Results obtained data that includes dimensions of the channel width of 0,62 m 0,32 m height of the water discharge 0,1389 m3/second with 60% efficiency, resulting of output power in 261 watts. Water mill (waterwheel) used with the number of blades 20 pieces, outer diameter 2,1 m, diameter of 0,68 m, width 0,62 m category undershot waterwheel. While zero load, transmission using Hijet car axle with 14,3 rpm and 1.948 rpm to generator, whereas at normal load 250 watt windmill rotation 10,6 rpm and generator 1.421 rpm. Meter reading analog, digital and microcontroller has R2 = 0,953 means reading the voltage value of 3 is not much different measuring instruments. Statistical test non parametric test level matched (Wilcoxon's Signed Rank Test) with n = 20, alpha = 0,05, the measurement results the LCD microcontroller with theoretical study obtained Tcount = 45 and Ttable = 52, measurement of LCD microcontroller with gauge analog, Tcount = 28, Ttable = 52 and measurement LCD microcontroller with a digital gauge and Tcount = 39, Ttable = 52, Tcount <Ttable , it can be concluded that there was no difference in reading the instruments. Recloser response to disturbances that occurred from the first disturbance to three each time a distance of less than 10 seconds, the recloser will calculate the number of failures (fault), if the same until the third time the microcontroller will give signal to the magnetic contactor to turn off the circuit remains broken (permanent OFF). However, if the time of short circuit between the first and third time over 10 seconds then the recloser does not govern the microcontroller to remain OFF. |
