Summary: | This research aims to determine the relationship of emotional intelligence
and spiritual intelligence with an affective occupational commitment of public
service employees of local government agencies Sikka district, East Nusa
Tenggara Province. The subject in this study amounted to 110 people who worked
as civil servant in an office and four local government agencies on the scope of
Sikka regency. Gathering data using three different scale, consist of emotional
intelligence scale, the scale of spiritual intelligence and affective occupational
commitment scale. The result of multiple regression analysis shows together
emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence have a relationship with affective
occupational commitment (F=47,67, p=0.000) with the affective contribution of
46.1%. Emotional intelligence does not have a working relationship affective
occupational commitment (t =1.88, p > 0.05) while the spiritual intelligence have
a very significant relationship with affective occupational commitment
(t=5.94.,p=0.000) and effective contribution 31, 02%
