and economical way to protect the port area. One of the sediments of the construction
of retention is the threshold under the water. Submarines under water windowsill is a
building which serves to divert the flow of sediment entering the treated Rails
transport.
In this study were testing two models of threshold under water, the square
model and the model of a half circle. Underwater high threshold is not the same as is
11 cm 10 cm, 12 cm, 13 cm, 14 cm and 15 cm. However, fixed-length and width of 40
cm to 20 cm in length and width. The size is the same both for the test object is. Tests
to see how the patterns of flow that occur and after the calculation of the flow pattern
is carried out to determine dumping of sediments in the interior and the exterior of
buildings.
The results of the study revealed that the speed of the flow with the increase of
threshold under the water on the exterior of the building, which is why the download
sediment that it happens is also ideal because the discharge of sediment is a function of
the flow. From the analysis, two forms of this building are also able to reduce sediment
to pass. The greater the UWS structure more effective protection of the Park on the
UWS. In high UWS � h / d = 0.75, a theoretical approach can reduce sediment
transport in a 20 to 30%. Without however, the threshold under water more than half a
